You manage your money. Why not your body?
Most people never ask the most important question about their training.
What's the ROI?
Not the calories burned. Not the weight on the bar. Not how many days a week they showed up.
The return. On the investment.
Because here's the truth most people haven't connected yet:
When you walk into the gym, you are not working out.
You are investing capital.
And your capital is not money.
Your capital is:
Time.
Effort.
Energy.
Attention.
Four of the most finite, non-renewable resources you will ever have.
You expect your broker to generate a return on your money. You hold him accountable. You track the numbers. You ask hard questions when performance falls short.
So why don't you expect the same return on the personal capital you invest in yourself every single day?
Most people don't ask. Or they don't know how.
But the principle is the same.
If I invest capital, I expect a return.
Why should training be any different?
Random workouts produce random results.
You wouldn't hand your broker a random strategy and hope for the best. You wouldn't accept volatility with no direction, no plan, no accountability.
But that's exactly what most people do in the gym.
They show up with no plan. No progression. No measurement. No expectation of return.
Intentional training produces returns.
Every session is a transaction. Every rep is a decision about how you're managing your capital. Every skipped session, every half-effort set, every workout without purpose — that's capital wasted.
And here's the part that nobody wants to hear:
There is nothing more valuable than your time.
Yet most people never hold themselves accountable for the capital they've wasted.
Your physique is a ledger.
It's a public record of how you've managed your capital over time. Every decision you've made — or avoided — is written right there in the mirror.
You can't hide a poorly managed portfolio.
The market doesn't care about your excuses. Neither does your body.
When I walk into the gym, I go to work.
Not because I love every session. Not because I always feel like it.
Because capital must be managed.
Every single day.
That's the standard.
That's the irrefutable truth.
Protect your capital.
